Bob and Saralyn Singer
Their quick wit, unexpected ad-libs and banter combined with humorous songs, both original and otherwise will prove to be fun for all. If you like to laugh and feel happy do not miss this concert.
As a duo, Bob and Saralyn draw from their respective backgrounds to sing a variety of original and cover tunes. The goal is simple, just to entertain and make sure everyone has fun. Their original tunes are geared to make the audience laugh. They have produced a very successful concert series. In doing so, they have opened for Michael Johnson, Jack Williams, Amy Carol Webb, David Roth, Still On The Hill, David Nachmanoff and many others.
Saralyn comes from Memphis, TN, where she was greatly influenced by (and friends with) Elvis Presley. Memphis being "home of the blues", she knew and sang the blues (then known as "race music") way before it was popular. She still sings and loves music from that era. Saralyn has experience in writing and acting in musicals and other theater productions. Bob grew up in the Midwest, with primary influences being Chad Mitchell Trio, Peter, Paul & Mary & Kingston Trio. Bob has always enjoyed writing songs, primarily topical in nature. In his twenties, Bob traveled around the Midwest in typical "troubadour" fashion of the 60´s.
