Allies
Allies is an acoustic duo out of Minneapolis with strong lead and acoustic guitars and two soulful voices that web together like a tightly woven blanket of sound. Pairing the skillful guitar work of nineteen year old Patrick Gibbs and powerful voice of twenty year old Bryan Shackle makes this show one that will not be forgotten. The two Allies grew up together in a suburb of the Twin Cities, becoming best friends while playing in a band for four years. They have played everywhere from large auditoriums and packed bars to quiet coffee houses on the outskirts of town. Recently the two worked on their first recording at the House Studio in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. They expect to be finished with their first CD entitled "Allies´ Freedom" sometime this summer. With a strong, young following in both Saint Cloud and the Twin Cities, Allies is sure to attract more attention with every show and bring a crowd wherever they roam. "The people come for curiosity and leave remembering the the tandem´s connection on stage and catchy music."
